I don't think, it was right or not as Metropolis Good Future is Egg Gauntlet-based background. Metropolis uses scrapped zone backgrounds as Wood Zone for Past version and Cyber or Genocide City Zone for Bad Future version. Egg Gauntlet is scrapped zone from Sonic 2 2013, so maybe it puts to Good Future version background?

Also red Eggman with atom icon is Atomic Destroyer from Sonic Triple Trouble after Toxic Caves?
